Phonics and reading schemes
From January 2022 we introduced Read Write Inc as our phonics scheme for children in Nursery and Reception upwards.
More information is on the link below.
From then onwards we use books from Accelerated Reader's extensive banded range of "real" books. This is when children have a reading age of 6, which the programme checks.
