Today, Year 1 have been learning how to use their voices to make different sounds. Together, as a class, we created a mind map of all of the sounds that we may here in space.
Our list included:
- Stars twinkling.
- Shooting stars, soaring and darting.
- An astronaut’s rocket.
- UFOs beeping.
- Aliens communicating.
- A rocket door opening.
- Astronauts and aliens meeting.
The children then worked in groups to create sounds for each and sequenced these sounds. We then performed them our sequences in small groups
